- He’s got a nice farm, but it’s out in the sticks nowhere near the city.
Make/earn a crust – make/earn a living
- What does that bloke do to earn a crust? Is he a dunny diver?
Take the Mickey out of SO – kid with ST; tease SO
- Is that chick being serious or is she just taking the Mickey out of us?
Take the piss out of SO – kid with ST; tease SO
- Don’t worry, mate. He‘s just taking the piss out of you.
The bush – wild or uncultivated country
- Let’s go for a hike this weekend in the bush!
The Outback – the remove and usually uninhabited inland parts of Australia
- The Outback‘s a dangerous place if you don’t know what you’re doing.
