In today's episode...

G’day legends! Crack a cold one and pull up a chair for another ripper episode of Aussie English. This time, it’s a fair dinkum chinwag with my old man, Ian, about his epic quest to snap pics of as many Aussie birds as humanly possible in a single year. He set himself a challenge to photograph 366 different species (it was a leap year, after all!), and let me tell ya, it’s been a wild ride. We’re talkin’ rare ducks at the bloody Werribee poo farm (yeah, you heard that right!), dodging tiger snakes, and the sheer dedication it takes to spot this many feathered mates.

But it ain’t all just about the birds. We also go off on a few tangents, like ya do, chewin’ the fat about everything from Pokemon (gotta catch ’em all, right?) to the ancient land bridge between Tassie and the mainland. We even get a bit philosophical about what makes a good yarn, whether it’s a top-notch telly show like Time Team or just two blokes havin’ a laugh on a podcast. If you’re keen to hear about a true blue Aussie adventure, get a bit of a history lesson, and maybe even learn a thing or two about storytelling, then whack this episode in your ears. You won’t regret it!
