In today's episode...

G’day, you legends! Fancy a bit of a chinwag about some bonza Aussie slang? Well, crack open a cold one and chuck on this week’s episode of Aussie English! Pete’s yarnin’ with his old man, Dad (aka the fountain of Aussie knowledge… sometimes!), and they’re takin’ a squiz at some ripper slang terms.

Turns out, even ChatGPT’s havin’ a crack at explainin’ where words like “fair dinkum,” “Buckley’s chance,” and “dunny” come from. But let me tell ya, Pete and Dad reckon some of those explanations are a bit… cactus! They’ll be settin’ the record straight, havin’ a good laugh, and throwin’ in their own two cents about these classic Aussie sayings.

From dodgy dog’s breakfasts to lookin’ like a stunned mullet, they’ll cover a fair whack of the Aussie vernacular. Plus, they’ll even have a bit of a chuckle about rhymin’ slang and those words that just sound plain wrong.

So, if you’re keen to get your ear around some true blue Aussie English and have a bit of a giggle along the way, tune into this episode now! You don’t wanna miss it, mate!
