In today's episode...

Alright, g’day listeners! Buckle up, because this week’s episode is a ripper. We’re diving into a reaction to a video that’ll have you saying, “Crikey!” This bloke from the channel Curls shares his wild year in Oz, and let’s just say, it wasn’t all sunshine and beaches.

Pete (that’s me!) thought it’d be a bit of a whinge about typical backpacker gripes, but nah, this story goes deep. We’re talking brutal farm work in far north Queensland, dodgy bosses, near-death experiences with infections, and a whole lotta “what the?!” moments. Seriously, this guy’s journey from winning a trip to New York (kinda) to almost losing his life is absolutely bonkers.

We’ll chat about the realities of working holiday visas, the importance of doing your homework before taking on farm work, and why you should always look out for your mates (and yourself!) when you’re travelling. Plus, we’ll get into the whole “abuse in the workplace” thing, because let’s be real, that’s never on.

So, if you’re keen for a yarn that’s equal parts shocking and captivating, give this episode a listen. Trust me, you won’t believe what this bloke went through. And hey, if you’ve got your own crazy Aussie travel stories, chuck ’em in the comments! We’d love to hear ’em.
