Oh brilliant mate! What exactly do you do? And what made you decide to come to Australia?

I am a Web Developer. I am looking after Havaianas(thongs) website and my day-to-day is based on solving issues on the website such as fixing bugs that costumers came across when they are shopping on the website. When I got here, I began working as a Deliveroo Rider. It was an exciting experience because I have never done outside work before. My initial plans in Australia was just studying English for seven months and come back to Brazil, but after seven months I realised that I need more time if I really wanted to get fluent in English so that I renewed my VISA for two more years.

Valeu mano(Similar thanks mate, but is usually spoken in Sao Paulo)! In the team I am working with, we’re all Brazilians, but the rest of the company are Aussies. Since I started listening to your podcast, my listening has improved a lot. I am feeling more confident to talk to natives.
