Step 1:

Watch the Video Lesson: Discussion and follow the conversation as best you can.

Watch the lesson multiple times and try to absorb anything you may have missed the first time through.

Step 2:

Watch the Video Lesson: Discussion + Vocabulary and focus on learning the advanced expressions and words that are defined in the video.

The goal here is to make sure you haven’t missed the meaning of any of those pieces of advanced vocabulary that appear in discussion.

Repeat multiple times.

Step 3:

Now it’s time to complete the Audio Lesson: Listen & Read.

Here, you’ll sink your teeth into the transcript and aim to read and listen to the lesson until you’ve learnt all the new vocabulary and can follow the conversation 100%.

Repeat multiple times.

Step 4:

Listen to the Audio Lesson: Vocabulary and follow my breakdown of all the advanced expressions and words used in the week’s discussion lesson.

The goal here is to really focus on listening comprehension without reading and without video. There’s no transcript.

Repeat this lesson multiple times until you’re confident you’ve learnt the vocabulary.

Step 5:

Lastly, complete the Audio Lesson: Pronunciation in order to practice your pronunciation of some natural English phrases that include vocabulary from this week’s discussion lesson.

Focus on pronunciation, rhythm, and intonation, and repeat multiple times until you can say these phrases at a natural pace.

Tip: to really be thorough and get the most out of every week’s lesson pack, aim to complete these 5 steps every day for the week and then move onto the next week’s lesson pack.
