Welcome back to another Pete’s 2c episode here on the Aussie English podcast! This is the series where I answer your questions from the Aussie English Instagram page. 

First up, my fave music genre? Definitely prog rock – there’s something about those crazy long songs and complex instrumentals. And if you’re into that scene, shoutout to Aussie band Karnivool, they’re absolute legends.

Next one’s a bit of a survival scenario – stuck in the desert, what five things do I absolutely need? Well, basics are obvious: food, water, and some kind of shelter from the harsh sun. But I’d also want a survival guide, and maybe a signaling device in case I get lucky and spot a rescue chopper or something.

Finally, can you drive drunk here in Australia? Absolutely not! We’ve got a strict 0.05% BAC (blood alcohol content) limit, and if you’re caught over, there are serious penalties. Best bet? Leave the car keys at home and grab a cab or ride-share if you’ve been drinking.
