I got Dad back on The Goss today where we talk about koalas and birds!

We got a news story about 2 citizen scientists who helped discover a new colony of koalas in Heathcote National Park – a total of 100 individuals, with females and babies!

It’s actually great news that they’re growing in population these days. They’ve dwindled with the recent bushfires.

In another story, we talk about the Eurasian whimbrel, a migratory bird. We also talk about how migratory birds rest in between flights and how countries should care for their environments to preserve these rest stop areas.
